Gangtok, Darjeeling and Hanuman Tok Tour Itinerary
Meet & Greet on arrival AT NJP Railway station/IXB Airport & transfer to Gangtok (5,480ft.). On arrival check-in to hotel & you will have the rest of the day at your leisure, you can relax or can go to explore on MG Marg also. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
After breakfast start for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.) & Baba Mandir (13,200 ft.) which is 55 kms one way from Gangtok city. overnight stay at Gangtok.
Start for a full day city tour covering Tashi view point, Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, Flowers Show, cottage industry and Handicraft Centre, Institute of Tibetology, Dro-dul Chorten, Ranka Monastery & Banjhakri Falls (maximum 6 hours). Overnight stay at hotel Gangtok.
After breakfast transfer to Drajeeling (6,710 ft.). on your way back visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. After lunch visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (Thursday close) Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee self- help centre (Sunday closed), Tea Garden (outer view), Ava Art Gallery and Japanese Temple (4 hrs from 9.00 to 13.00 hrs). Overnight stay will be at Drajeeling.
Early morning (at4:00am) drive to Tiger Hill to watch the spectacular sunrise over mt. Kanchanjunga (28,208ft world's 3rd highest peak), after breakfast check out from hotel on time & transfer to NJP Railway Station/ IXB Airport(98kms/3hrs)for your onward journey.
